Automated storage system ROTOMAT

In April 2024, we installed the ROTOMAT storage system. Using this system, we solved the storage of exchange sets from automated production lines. The ROTOMAT utilizes the installation height of 6.5 meters and consists of 20 shelves with a maximum load capacity of 255 kg. The system is commonly used to store tools or smaller components that can be placed in containers. Its flexibility allows for multiple access points on various floors. Combined with high-performance controllers and interface IT systems, the ROTOMAT is a versatile and customizable system designed for efficiency. 

"Sportovec Jihlavska" awards ceremony for the 2023

On April 4, 2024, the prestigious Sportovec Jihlavska awards ceremony took place at the DKO. Our company has been a long-standing general partner of this sports event. The selection of the best athletes from various sports disciplines across Jihlava was made by an expert committee. The awards were presented alternately, accompanied by performances from the band Oči and singer Jitka Boho. The entire evening was hosted by the moderator Jiří Korec.

Best improvement proposal for 2023

On March 6, 2024, the awards ceremony for the best improvers of the year 2023 took place. A total of 105 improvement proposals were submitted by 59 contributors from various departments within our company.  We appreciate the submitted proposals and congratule the winners.

Competition for the most beautiful Christmas tree

In December 2023, the 21st annual competition for the beautiful christmas tree n in Jihlava and its surroundings took place. Together enjoyed of 30 kindergartens and 21 primary schools. Each school or kindergarten decorated one tree, which was placed on the sidewalk along Citypark.

Only the three best decorated trees could win in each category. Therefore  on December 19, 2023, the six best groups met at the Theathe Na kopečku in Jihlava to announce the best trees. Firstly children could see aa Christmas fairy tale performed by the Mrak Theater. This was followed by the announcement of the best groups. The presents were handed over to the children by Mrs. Krpálková – the director of Jihlavské listy.  On behalf of Kolektor Tesla Jihlava, the general partner of this event, the awards were presented by Mr. Vaňoušek and Mrs. Valová.

The children were given gifts in kind as a reward for their creativity and efforts.

Sports challenge 2023

From 21. 03. 2023 to 21. 06. 2023, our employees were able to participate in a sports challenge – walking, running and cycling. For every kilometre actually sported, the company donated CZK 1 to  charity. This year, we contributed to a computer that will be used by the DOK Primary Prevention Centre. This centre implements programs aimed at preventing risky behaviour of students in primary schools, substance abuse, bullying, aggression, racism and intolerance.

A total of 55 employees took part in the challenge, walking a total of 11,302 bikes, cycling 7,371 km and running 1,497 km. On 20. 09, 2023, Mr. Boštjan More handed over a voucher worth CZK 16,000 to Mrs. Fexova for the purchase of a computer.

Thank you to all the employees who played sports with us and supported a good cause.

New X-ray on the control of the electroplating department

In the second quarter of this year, we purchased the Fischerscope X-RAY XDV SSD device from the German manufacturer Fischer, which works on the principle of monitoring X-ray reflections. It can measure the thickness of surface finishes and is able to measure with high accuracy the elemental content in metal alloys. It can be used for material analysis. These analyses are increasingly required by customers as part of the providing new products. The parameters of this equipment will allow us to determine (set up) the production process in the electroplating shop with greater accuracy and also to detect any poor quality of surface treatments.

Family Day - celebration of the 65th anniversary of the founding of the company

On Saturday, May 13, 2023, our company held a Family Day organized for employees and family members on to celebrate Tesla s 65th anniversary. Employees and their family members were invited to this festive event. About 500 people were able to see the company s production facilities and an exhibition of old photographs, original and current products and other documents from history. Good food and drink was provided for the visitors.

The children enjoyed virtual reality, a bouncy castle and face painting. The whole event was accompanied by an experienced moderator who entertained the children with dancing and competitions.

Visit of pupils of the 7th grade of the O. Březiny Elementary school in our company

On 20. 04. 2023, scholars of the 7th grade from the primary school O. Březiny in Jihlava visited our company. The visit took place as part of the „World of Work“ project and aimed to visit interesting companies in the region.

A guided tour was prepared for the students, The greatest interest was directed towards automated lines and the activities of robots. At the end of the excursion, a short presentation about the history of our company was prepared for them. A quiz with a secret was also prepared. It was nice to see the children s interest in what our company produces.

International KOLEKTOR - Lean academy 2022-2023

In March 2023, Ms. Kourkova successfully completed the international Lean Academy across the Kolektor Group. 18 employees from 6 different countries and Kolektor branches participated in this academy. This was the third year, but the first time with participation in all 8 workshops and completion of the entire academy by an employee of our plant. Each workshop was held in a different city and Kolektor plant. The main topics included: value stream mapping, Kanban system, SMED methodology, digitalization and more. The newly acquired knowledge will be used to expand the lean production system and increase productivity and efficiency.

Investment in the measuring equipment in 2022

In 2022, we purchased two Duramax 3D measuring devices offering a wide range of options in the field of measurement evaluation and their outputs.

We also replaced the old force gauge in the testing department with a new machine from the manufacturer Zwick. This is a modern machine that has a much wider range of measurement capabilities.. The testing department is also newly equipped with a diamond saw for cutting out parts. The latest investment in measuring equipment was the purchase of a new measuring microscope from the manufacturer Garant. With the newly acquired measuring equipment, we have again reached the level of top suppliers to the automotive industry.

Competition for the most beautiful Christmas tree

The competition for the most beautiful Christmas tree is a traditional event in Jihlava and its surroundings, organized by Jihlavské listy. This year, fifty-five schools participated in the competition, which is the largest number in the 20 years of organizing this event.

Voting began on 27 November 2022 and finished on 12 December 2022, when all the votes were counted.

On Monday 19 December 2022, the winners were announced at the Theatre Na Kopečku in Jihlava. After the initial viewing of the fairy tale, the expected moment arrived. Representatives of Jihlava newspapers Mrs. Krpálková and Mrs. Dawidowicz and representatives of the general partner Kolektor Tesla Jihlava s.r.o. Mrs. Valová and Mr. Vaňoušek presented the winning schools with gifts in kind.

Tree of fulfilled wishes

The traditional charity event of Hitradio Vysočina, Tree of Fulfilled Wishes, enables people to buy Christmas presents for children from orphanages or adults from shelters and social care institutions in Vysočina.

Since Kolektor Tesla Jihlava is an annual partner of the event, this year the tree of fulfilled wishes was also placed in our company.  The cards with wishes were in demand and quickly disappeared from the tree. A great advantage was that the purchased and wrapped gifts could be handed in by employees until 12 December 2022 directly at the company reception.

To all our Santa Clauses who light up the eyes of children and adults at Christmas, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Technology of sealing – Potting

Based on the request from our customers ib the automotive industry about tightness of parts we focus on sealing technology. This is mainly to prevent the penetration of moisture between the plastic injection and the metal pin, which is electroplated. This prevents the penetration of moisture into the functional area of the product, which could cause an electrical short circuit and thus the loss of the function of the entire device. We are launching two potting technologies for three potting materials. The final phase of the sealing process is 100% tightness of the components manufactured at our company.

Hand over of financial donation to Oblastní Charita Jihlava

The sports challenge has became a traditional in our comapny. Every spring our employees ride their bikes, run and walk with knowledge not to do only something useful for their health, but also this way they can contribute to charitable causes. We have been cooperating with the Jihlava Charity in this direction for several years. This year, we contributed to a bicycle shelter with a stand for clients and service workers Klubíčko Jihlava, NZDM Erko Jihlava, Follow-up Care Jihlava and Sova Sovičky, which will stand at the charity building on Žižkova Street in Jihlava. On 23 August 2022, a financial donation of CZK 18,000 was handed over from the hands of our director Boštjan More, the director of the Regional Charity Jihlava, Mrs. Hana Fexová.

Distric Jihlava sportsman 2021

On Thursday, April 6, 2022, a gala evening was held in DKO Jihlava, where the best athletes of the Jihlava region for 2020 and 2021 were announced. Kolektor Tesla Jihlava was, as usual, the general partner of the whole event.

The director of our company, Mr. Boštjan More, presented the award to the best sports team, which became the karate club SK Jihlava.

Best innovators Awards

On January 14, 2022, our company announced the best innovators for the previous year 2021. A total of 50 improvement proposals were submitted by various employees across the company. The Improvement commission carefully selected the 6 most interesting improvement proposals and their authors were rewarded with a day trip. The winners will first visit the ŠKODA Museum in Mladá Boleslav and then the spa town of Poděbrady with a cruise on the Elbe. 

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all those who were actively involved in continuous improvement in the company last year. 

Competition for the most beautiful Christmas tree

At the beginning of December, the traditional Christmas competition for the most beautiful Christmas tree was held, which was decorated by children from kindergartens and schoolchildren from the first grade. This year, a record number of people took part in this competition – fifty-four groups, children from Jihlava and its surroundings. We could enjoy the decorated trees in Gustav Mahler Park.

On December 13, the contest was closed and the final votes were counted.

Representatives of Jihlavské listy Mrs. Krpálková and Mrs. Dawidowicz and representatives of the general partner Kolektor Tesla Jihlava Jana Valová and Zdeněk Vaňoušek went directly to the winners of the competition, to whom they handed over material gifts.

Tesla employees help with sports

In the spring and summer months, there was a sporting challenge in our company. Employees competed in three categories – walking, running, cycling. For each kilometer sported, the company donated CZK 1 to the Regional Charity Jihlava.

Help from Kolektor Tesla Jihlava has become a tradition. This time you contributed CZK 20,600. The cheque in this value was handed over to the director Hana Fexová by the director of Kolektor Tesla Jihlava s.r.o., Mr. Boštjan More. The donated money will go to our charity nurses Home Health Care.

Distric Jihlava sporstman 2020

On June 16, 2021, the results of the 21st year of the "Jihlava Athletes 2020" survey were announced. The handover ceremony took place in the garden of Jihlavské listy. The best athletes from the ranks of individuals, collectives were announced and an award for outstanding sports performance was also presented. Our company Kolektor Tesla Jihlava s.r.o. as a general partner, represented by Ing Petr Blažek could not miss out on this announcement. Together with the director of the organizing company Parolaart, Mrs. Eva Krpalková, they gave the best athletes awards. We congratulate all athletes for their performance and look forward to the next year of this survey.

Testing for Covid 19

From Monday 8.3.2021 Kolektor Tesla Jihlava s.r.o. has started testing of our employees (including agency workers) for Covid 19. Testing will be provided by clinical laboratory staff IFCOR directly in our company. This testing will be repeated on weekly basis.

This year at the end of February we created new company Facebook, where you can find actual information from our company, jobs offers, sport activities. Facebook users, join our group and those who hesitated have the opportunity to set up Facebook and get still new information about Tesla all the time. The most beautiful Christmas tree

Year after year met, and at the beginning of December the best decorated trees were evaluated. These trees were decorated by children from kindergarten and first grade schoolchilden. Children from Jihlava and its sourounders could attend this competetion. On 13.12.2020, the results of the best decorated trees were known. The ceremonial could not done, as each year, on Jihlava square or in a small theatre hall due to strict Covid procuration. Therefore, the crew consist of Managing director of Jihlava´s newspaper Mrs. Krpálková, as well as Mrs. Dawidovicz also from Jihlava´s newspaper went directly to the winners into kindergartens and schools. Jana Valová and Zdeněk Vaňoušek represented our company Kolektor Tesla Jihlava as general partners. On 16.12.2020 we given presents to three best winners from categories of kindergarten and first gade scholchildren. Their sincere pleasure, smile and shine eyes were caress on soul.

Acoustic cabin

Our biggest and noisest machine - Bruderer 510 - belong to our newest machines, was equipped by acoustic cabin. From personal experiences, the own noise reduction is high. At present time you can talk in front of this machine and you can hear talking person perfectly. Former the was not possible. There is next step for protection of ear and health of our employees.

Spring Sports challenge 2020

26.6.2020

We followed up with the 2018 contest. Any permanent employee of our company was able to participate in this competition through the categories - walking, running and cycling always in the spirit of fair play. This spring sports challenge began on 20th March and ended on 20th June 2020. 21 sports funds were attended. Every realistically sports away 1 kilometre our company donated by 1 krone for charitable purpose to the Regional Charity in Jihlava. This year we decided to contribute to a wheelchair accessible entrance in the garden housing placed in Charity house in Mahenova street No. 16 in Jihlava. Our sportsmen and sportswomen walked together 5.010,76 km, run 397,43 km and rode on a bicycle 7.704,90 km. For these sports activities our company Kolektor Tesla Jihlava contributed amount of 13.113 Kč. Among staff, who wanted to support this charitable purpose, we raised an extra 2.700 Kč. On 8th July 2020 the total valeu of 15.813 Kč was handed over by our managing director Mr. Boštjan More to Mrs. Fexová - managing director of Jihlava´s charity.

Publication of survey result "Distric Jihlava sportsman 2019" was taken on Monday 1st June, 2020 in the Gothic vestybule of Jihlava´s hall from 4:00 p.m. Mr. Milan Venhoda presented our company Kolektor Tesla Jihlava as the general partner of this survey.

Mr. Radovan Daněk popular moderator announced result. Because of safety procuration against the corona pandemy, the own publication was not so styla and missed there culture exhibitions as we could see in previous serveys. Inspite of thi during the whole time there was kind and friendly atmosphere.

Our firm and COVID-19

Kolektor Tesla Jihlava currently does not plan the close the operation relating the pandemic and continues to operate in the normal mode for its customers.

For the protection of emloyees and to reduce the risk of infection with COVID-19, a number of measures have been taken, including prohibition of external visit, limited contacts with drivers, use of protective equipment, keeping a safe distance etc.

The newest addition in our plastic injection department is the purchared plastic injection machine brand Arburg 1200T with rotary table from February. This machine is part of a new automated line, that represents new concept of automated department with regard to its maximum using. This robotic department will not be used only for single purpose but currently is being devepoled for two different projects

In November we bought a new measuring device that it suitable for measuring of 2D parts, that are on flat contacts. The advantage it, that it unnecessary to attach, fix or orient parts. We can only put them on the instrument´s glass. The subsequent evaluation takes 5 seconds and it is possible to create and store a protocol from the measurement. This new investment has brought us great time saving during measure of many products at stamping department.

New laboratory equipment in chemical laboratory.

In October we equipped our chemical lab with a device called a pH-meter with large range of uses and easier manipulation, than our previous unit. Maintenance is also facilitated, by the device being able to guard necessary calibration intervals on its own and continuously can verify its measurement stability.

The second device is the UV-VIS spectrophotometer, on which we measure concentrations of some metal materials and organics additives in the plating baths. Big different from previous device is that on the spectrophotometer can be measured four samples at a time.

Digital microscop VHX-6000

30.3.2018

In February 2018 we bought digital microscop VHX-6000 from japan company Keyence, which is top equipment in area of laboratory device. System of this equipment provides us to measure opticly and makes snaps with high zoom (up 2000x) in high deep of intensity in range up to 4.9 cm. This is also a part of modern technology for 3D scanning.

This new measuring device helps us to make weork in laboratory more effective and confirms high technological level of our company in another way than only in production area.

Information system SAP

3.1.2019

In a range of integration in to Kolektor Group was system Altec application replaced in the beginning of 2019 for new system SAP. This change was implemented in all departments and divisions in our company. There were bought for systematic activities of SAP new printers of labels, mobil terminals with linear readers and 2D codes and further necessary accessories for set up of WIFI net in selected places of production and in storage departments

60 years of production of electromechanical parts 1958 - 2018

TESLA Jihlava was established on 1.4.1958 and it launched production of roll-type and suppressor capacitors in the buildings of previous tabacco company. Since 1967 it has become as specialized manufacturer of constructional parts for electronics in the whole corporation of TESLA companies. In 1992 our company passed through the privatization, it had to limit the large production assortment impact over the giant influx of foreign competitive companies and fast development of technology, for which the original parts became out of dated. This was the reason why the activities of our company have been focused on the field of assembly for foreign customers and gradual obtaining of suppliers of electromechanical parts for automotive and electronics. Since 2007 our company has been located in the new production area "indoor" in the industrial zone Jihlava and since 1.1.2018 we have became a part of a multinational company Kolektor based in Slovenian Idrija and we accepted the name Kolektor Tesla Jihlava s.r.o. Our goal is to produce high quality parts and subassemblies for the automotive industry. The satisfied customer will quarantee the further development of company and social security of staff.
